getting ready for this blog

hello - i'm starting this blog to document a bike trip which i (jay) and my good friend john took from may 20 to june 2, 2007.

once john and i finish typing up our journals, we will enter the text here, and change the entry dates in the blog to reflect the actual journal dates.
